We are pleased to announce that the Mathieu Almaric film, La Chambre Bleue (The Blue Room), opened in Portland on October 24 at the Living Room Theaters.
The film is based on a novel by popular (and prolific) novelist Georges Simonen. It’s the story of two adulterous lovers who go from pillow talk to possible murder in a brain-teasing thriller. While we are hearing from French members that they enjoy the film, we also recommend it highly for learners of French. The delivery of the dialogue in the movie is frequently through Q&A (the judge magistrate interrogating the suspects) and there is lots of repetition. And of course, the film is fully subtitled in English.
Not to miss! Visit the theater online to check on showtimes at http://pdx.livingroomtheaters.com. The film will play in Portland through November 6, 2014.
