La Voix Humaine is a one-act opera for a soprano and orchestra by French composer Francis Poulenc written in 1958. La Voix was inspired by the earlier play of Jean Cocteau, the legendary French artist and poet. La Voix Humaine opens Poulenc@PSU, a music festival presenting music from the City of Light 1900-1960.
