The Alliance will host its Fall Term Open House (Portes Ouvertes) on Thursday, September 5, 6–7:30 p.m. at the Kamm House (1425 SW 20th Avenue).
This Open House will feature a specialty chocolate tasting with chocolatier Cristina Yen, an Alliance member since 2009 and student since 2012. Yen’s chocolate business, A Yen for Chocolate, specializes in personalized, handmade chocolates for all occasions.
No reservations are necessary to attend the event – simply stop by to visit with teachers, chat with staff members, register for classes, pick up books, learn more about upcoming events and, for those of you who don’t know, learn about the perks of having an Alliance membership!
Complimentary refreshments will be served and a raffle for prizes will be held.
